Careers and Special Interests

Our careers programme focuses on developing skills for employment, career planning and developing special interests and is supported through the NOCN qualification.  We use workshops and activities to explore and develop interests, an external careers service to support with career planning and a range of work experience placements to further skills. This approach gives learners confidence and foundations needed for future employment, volunteering and special interest opportunities.

Through this programme we have seen learners move on to successful placements at Team Dominica, day centres and volunteering programmes.

We use the Careers and Employability Centre's Gatsby Benchmarking to assess and measure our careers programme enabling continuous improvement.
